PSR (Pre-Start Health Safety Review) RESPONSIBILITIES

Description
This course outlines employer responsibilities in accordance with the Ministry of Labour initiatives which resulted in amendments to Section 7 (Ontario Regulation 528/00) of the regulation for industrial establishments. This amendment has resulted in transfer of PDR responsibilities from MOL to the private sector, where individula companies are now responsible to ensure PSR documentation is in full compliance with the new amended section 7 regulations, and carry out Pre Start Safety Reviews as per amended section 7.

• Receive a copy on the relevant Ontario regulation
• Be able to identify "Trigers" that cause a PSR review
• Understand new Ontario requirements and be able to convey requirements to your machinery suppliers and installation contractors
• Understand the importance of keeping records
