NEMATRON OpenControl

Description
The purpose of this course is to provide students with an introduction to PC Basic Controls, and basic understanding of OpenControl flowchart functions, Profibus configuration methods, and Paragon HMI screens as they apply to machine maintenance and troubleshooting functions.

Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this class, you will be able to:

Understand OpenControl functions
Learn how to Build, activate and run a flowchart project
Use the watch window to view, change and force
Use the Monitor tool to determine program flow
Track an input or output tag through the Profibus network
Add devices to the Profibus network
Determine failed devices utilizing fault messages
Navigate and use Paragon HMI screens
